Russell Public LibraryPrevious hours of operation are retained, yet all is new and fresh. Please come and see the new facilities. Our grand opening was December 7, 2008. We have 6 computer stations now, a large children's section, a cozy fireplace seating area, and a new common room that has a large kitchen and handicap bathroom in it. Functions may be held there but there is a sign-up process which must be followed. Contact Brenda Hale for more information or to sign-up. On May 14, 2013, the Russell Library went "live", meaning we are now fully automated. To use the library you must have a Universal Card. This card enables you to check out books, use the computers, order e-books and borrow books from other libraries through inter-library loan. The card is easy to obtain. You can get one at the library in 5 minutes.
